Lock-top Chimney Dampers

Lock-top chimney dampers are also known as Energy Saving Chimney Caps. They act as a standard chimney cap when you’re fireplace is in use and the cap is open. When your fireplace is not in use it can be closed to create a tight seal and provide energy efficient savings by preventing your ambient heat from escaping through your fireplace in the fall and winter and your air conditioning from escaping during the warmer months. The lock-top also prevents down drafts.
